Pickleball Pro

About the Game

Pickleball Pro is a simple single player pickleball game where you play in a tournament, defeating increasingly more challenging opponents on your way to the final.

By adjusting your player direction, position, and velocity, you can:

• hit high lobs, or hit flat powerful shots
• hit in the corners or down the line
• hit volleys

Different opponents use different strategies against the player:

• hitting down the line
• hitting  cross court
• hitting away from the player
• hitting volleys
• hitting with spin or slice

If you make it through all seven rounds of the tournament, you win!

Currently, there is a single tournament, and seven different opponents.   The opponents become more powerful and faster as you move forward in rounds.   The player can adjust the difficulty of the game at any point.

Getting Started

The game requires no setup.  Just install, familiarize yourself with the Pickleball rules, and start playing. 

About the Developer

Pickleball Pro is being developed by jee561, who began this project to explore physics-based games.

Future Plans

 iOS support is planned.

Currently the physics of the game are limited to applying variable momentum to the ball, and directing the ball, based on mouse or touch movements.

The following additional gameplay features are being explored:

• increasing opponent accuracy
• improvements to opponent strategy
• support for the player to hit drop shots, or deep shots
• support for the player to hit with spin or slice
• additional tournaments, leading to a year end ranking
• record of player head to head wins versus opponents
